Alston Slay

Alston was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina and graduated from the College of Charleston in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in History, and minored in Political Science. After graduating, he attended Charleston School of Law, graduating in 2019. He is licensed to practice law in both North and South Carolina.

Alston’s experience includes clerking at various firms throughout his time in law school, where he worked in various practice areas ranging from personal injury to workers compensation. While in law school, Alston was a member of the Maratime Law Society. Prior to joining Crawford & von Keller in July 2025, Alston worked as an e-discovery attorney on mass tort and antitrust class-action lawsuits.

In his free time, Alston enjoys hiking, gardening, and going on adventures with his wife and two boys.
