Gregory Cowan
Gregory Cowan grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas and later in Welcome, North Carolina. He obtained his undergraduate degree with highest honors at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Greg returned to the Piedmont and joined the charter class of the Elon University School of Law where he graduated in 2009.
After graduation, Greg joined a large regional in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Greg practiced in real estate closings, foreclosures, replevins, commercial work, and consumer collections during the financial crisis. He obtained licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee, and he has practiced in the area of creditor’s rights across those states. Greg has been active in the North Carolina Creditor’s Bar Association, having contributed to amicus curiae briefs and industry comments to regulatory proposals from the CFPB. Greg is passionate about developing his skills as a negotiator and a litigator and defending client rights.
Greg lives in High Point with his wife and four children. Greg enjoys woodworking and spending time outdoors with his kids.
