Michael G. Clifford

Michael G. Clifford (Mike) is Crawford & von Keller’s Managing Attorney in Tennessee. Mike is originally from Miami, Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Florida (B.S. Business, 2003), and the Florida International University College of Law (J.D., 2009).

Immediately upon graduation from law school Mike relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where he has spent the entirety of his legal career. The majority of his practice has been spent exclusively representing creditors and mortgage servicing clients in bankruptcy, foreclosure, and eviction matters throughout the state. He has spent most of his career working for some of the largest law firms in the real estate and mortgage banking industry.

During Mike’s time at these firms he has written best practices handbooks for other attorneys, chaired the Tennessee legislation committee, and lectured the local bar on mortgage related issues.
Mike is a member of the Tennessee State Bar, and admitted to practice in the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee.

Mike relocated to Tennessee with his wife Mary, a beloved pediatrician in the community. Together they live in Franklin with their daughters Sophia and Olivia and golden retriever Duke. In his spare time you’ll find him running, at college football games, or coaching youth sports.
